Alliance Regional Water Authority (Alliance Water) is a political subdivision of 欧博娱乐 State of Texas established to provide drinking water to satisfy 欧博娱乐 needs of three cities and one regional water authority located in Central Texas. The Alliance Water project will serve one of 欧博娱乐 fastest-growing communities in 欧博娱乐 country—one struggling to keep up with an increased demand for water.

Local water suppliers serving communities within 欧博娱乐 Austin-San Antonio corridor are facing a population expected to increase by 1.44 million by 2030. To keep up with demand and ensure clean water for future generations in 欧博娱乐 I-35 corridor between Austin and San Antonio, Alliance Water applied to 欧博娱乐 Texas Water Development Board for funding to develop groundwater supplies, provide water treatment, and build pipelines to multiple distribution points—providing a sustainable water supply for residents. The board required that 欧博娱乐 project meet certain environmental requirements spanning across agencies including 欧博娱乐 U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and Texas Historical Commission.  

As a full-scope partner, our team of experts worked with Alliance Water to conduct agency coordination and environmental investigations required to secure funding to implement this comprehensive treatment and transmission system. Before conducting extensive environmental site assessments, we coordinated with a wide variety of agencies to ensure compliance and sustainable development. This included everything from addressing historical and archeological cultural resources, to stream and wetland concerns and species protection. In addition to field work within approximately 85 miles of proposed transmission pipeline corridors, our team conducted environmental investigations for 欧博娱乐 proposed water treatment plant, booster pump station, elevated storage tanks, delivery points, and administrative and operations facility.  

Upon its completion, 欧博娱乐 Alliance Water project will bring potable water to a rapidly growing area along 欧博娱乐 I-35 corridor, supporting long-term growth in Central Texas. To successfully implement its multiple phases, we helped secure $288 million in funding from 欧博娱乐 Texas Water Development Board for 欧博娱乐 transmission pipeline, treatment plant, and associated facilities by working closely with Alliance Water, project engineers, and multiple federal, state, and local agencies.
