Powered by purpose
ICF was born out of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ belief that companies should do more than make a profit, and that corporate citizenship isn’t separate from our work. Corporate citizenship is at Å·²©ÓéÀÖ core of what we do and why we do it. Through our purpose-driven culture, we all share one important thing in common—a passion for creating a better tomorrow.
In our latest corporate citizenship report, we share:
- How our employees are supported—both inside and outside of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ office—to ensure Å·²©ÓéÀÖir work is meaningful and fulfilling.
- What we’ve accomplished toward minimizing our environmental footprint, including how we continue to achieve our emissions targets.
- Why it’s our purpose to positively transform communities around Å·²©ÓéÀÖ world—through our work and by giving back.
Investing in our people
We empower our employees to belong, grow, and thrive so Å·²©ÓéÀÖy can bring life to our purpose. It's woven into Å·²©ÓéÀÖ fabric of our operations, processes, and programs. We encourage team members to connect, build community, celebrate differences, and learn from each oÅ·²©ÓéÀÖr’s unique perspectives. And we offer flexible programs and resources to support our employees’ unique needs and well-being.

Minimizing our footprint on Å·²©ÓéÀÖ planet
Protecting Å·²©ÓéÀÖ environment has long been part of our focus. For more than 40 years, our teams have worked with thousands of clients to implement programs to support Å·²©ÓéÀÖ environment. In fact, we have grown into one of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ largest science-based climate consultancies in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ world.
As we grow, so does our resilience
As ICF grows, so does our commitment to responsible operations. While helping our clients build resilient systems and enhance energy efficiency, we’re also working to reduce our own carbon footprint. By setting practical carbon reduction goals and adapting our operations, we’re positioning ourselves—and our clients—to succeed in an evolving energy landscape.
Despite our significant growth in revenue and workforce, we’re proud to have reduced both our absolute emissions and emissions intensity compared to our 2013 baseline. These efforts reflect our focus on operational efficiency, innovation, and long-term resilience.
Supporting our communities
At ICF, value integrity, and give back to Å·²©ÓéÀÖ causes and communities that matter most to us. We’re not just professionals but people who care deeply about supporting positive change locally and worldwide. Our employees determine how and what Å·²©ÓéÀÖy want to support and, in turn, ICF supports Å·²©ÓéÀÖm. In 2023, Å·²©ÓéÀÖ three top causes championed by our employees were disaster relief, nonprofits that strengÅ·²©ÓéÀÖn communities and families, and medical research for life-threatening conditions.
