Matt Maurer

Chief Marketing Officer
Matt is an expert in marketing and communications strategies with more than 20 years of experience.

Matt serves as senior vice president and chief marketing officer for ICF. He leads all aspects of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ company’s marketing and external communications, including marketing strategy, brand management, digital marketing, demand generation. He also oversees ICF’s public relations and executive communications, marketing and sales operations, and internal communications.

Matt has more than 20 years of experience leading marketing and communications strategies, teams, and initiatives in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ technology, policy, and professional service industries. Prior to joining ICF in 2016, Matt served as Å·²©ÓéÀÖ top communications officer for Opower and Blackboard, two of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ most successful technology startup companies in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Washington, D.C. region. Matt began his career in public relations, where he shaped and executed communications strategies for IBM, Intel, Å·²©ÓéÀÖ U.S. Department of Education, and several grantees of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Matt was named WashingtonExec's 2022 Chief Marketing Officer of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Year (Public/Private Company), and a WashingtonExec Top Marcom Leader to Watch in 2022 and 2023.
