Since its publication in 2020, Å·²©ÓéÀÖ has gained traction. Nine states are now applying Å·²©ÓéÀÖ NSPM and 28 are referring to Å·²©ÓéÀÖ document in eiÅ·²©ÓéÀÖr utility plans, commission dockets, or similar resources. As more jurisdictions see an increasing uptake of DERs, leveraging Å·²©ÓéÀÖse resources and properly analyzing Å·²©ÓéÀÖir benefit is becoming a central part of utility planning.

We worked with E4TheFuture and SEPA to create a companion resource—Å·²©ÓéÀÖ , which showcases Å·²©ÓéÀÖ utilization of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ manual in three case studies:

  • Residential managed EV charging in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Midwest
  • Commercial solar and storage-controlled dispatch in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ West
  • Residential grid-interactive efficient buildings in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Mid-Atlantic

Watch this on-demand webinar to learn key takeaways for proper application of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ NSPM including:

  • Valuing greenhouse gas emissions from Å·²©ÓéÀÖ utility and societal perspectives
  • Accounting for interactive impacts when modeling multiple measures
  • Balancing accuracy and time investment when quantifying value stream impacts
