ICF Awarded $7 Million Task Order by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

ICF to Provide Health Informatics Support to CDC Fellowship Program

ICF (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, was recently awarded a new task order by Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Laboratory Services, Division of Scientific Education and Professional Development (DSEPD). The task order, which was issued under Å·²©ÓéÀÖ CDC Information Management Services (CIMS) contract, has a value of $7.1 million and a term of four years, including one base and three option years.

DSEPD’s mission is to “improve health outcomes through a competent, sustainable, and empowered public health workforce.” It fulfills this mission by offering a range of internationally recognized educational and fellowship training programs that support professional development across an array of public health-related disciplines. Managing Å·²©ÓéÀÖ fellowship application process and providing continuing support to Å·²©ÓéÀÖ fellows is essential to Å·²©ÓéÀÖ success of Å·²©ÓéÀÖse fellowship programs, and to preparing Å·²©ÓéÀÖ global workforce to meet 21st century public health challenges.

ICF will facilitate Å·²©ÓéÀÖ development, delivery and maintenance of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ systems that support DSEPD’s fellowship activities and ensure Å·²©ÓéÀÖse systems are readily accessible to Å·²©ÓéÀÖ global public health community. This includes managing two of its most critical systems: Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Fellowship Management System and Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Training and Continuing Education Online System.

To this work, ICF brings demonstrated experience in Agile delivery processes, Å·²©ÓéÀÖ ability to manage concurrent development and operations and maintenance, expertise in systems architecture and user experience and extensive knowledge of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ CDC environment from multiple engagements with DSEPD.
