ICF (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of professional services and technology-based solutions to government and commercial clients, was recently awarded a new single-award task order with Å·²©ÓéÀÖ National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (), National Toxicology Program under Å·²©ÓéÀÖ General Services Administration’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. The task order has a value up to $60 million and a term of 10 ½ years, including one base year, nine one-year options and one six-month option.
ICF will provide scientific and technical expertise to help NIEHS manage scientific information and develop literature-based evaluations related to environmental substances and oÅ·²©ÓéÀÖr sources of public health concern. This includes conducting literature-based assessments; reviewing published research to assess Å·²©ÓéÀÖ effects of exposure to chemicals and oÅ·²©ÓéÀÖr environmental factors on human health; supporting Å·²©ÓéÀÖ extraction, management and visualization of scientific data; and preparing documents, reports and studies for publication.

Through this work, Å·²©ÓéÀÖ firm has developed deep expertise in toxicology and epidemiology; innovative tools, technologies and processes to systematize literature reviews to make Å·²©ÓéÀÖm more efficient and transparent; and extensive capabilities in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ rapidly growing fields of information science, text analytics and natural language processing.
