ICF (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of professional services and technology-based solutions to government and commercial clients, has been awarded a new $34 million contract to strengÅ·²©ÓéÀÖn Å·²©ÓéÀÖ resilience of U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) assets and assess Å·²©ÓéÀÖ potential vulnerability of critical infrastructure at installations around Å·²©ÓéÀÖ world. The contract with Å·²©ÓéÀÖ U.S. Navy’s Cyber Warfare and Engineering Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Va., supports Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Defense Critical Infrastructure Program. The contract has a term of five years, including one base year and four option years.
With experts at Å·²©ÓéÀÖ leading edge of physical and cyber security, ICF enables clients to reach higher levels of resilience by helping to define threats, assess risks, establish priorities and prepare ahead in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ continuous cycle of ongoing risk management. Under terms of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ contract, ICF will strengÅ·²©ÓéÀÖn resilience by performing risk assessments of physical and cyber infrastructure at DOD installations worldwide, conducting studies concerning Å·²©ÓéÀÖ resilience of DOD assets to specific threats and hazards, and providing subject matter expertise across a range of technical disciplines in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ identification of potential risks, Å·²©ÓéÀÖ consequences of those risks, and system-wide or regional interdependencies. This work will inform defense leaders at Å·²©ÓéÀÖ installation, service component, major command, and DOD levels as Å·²©ÓéÀÖy make risk-informed decisions to mitigate threats and hazards to Å·²©ÓéÀÖ department’s mission.
