HUD Selects ICF To Provide Community Development and Capacity Building Assistance

ICF Will Support State and Local Disaster Recovery Efforts Across Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Nation

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded ICF (NASDAQ:ICFI), a global consulting and digital services provider, several new multimillion dollar cooperative agreements to support Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Community Compass program, Å·²©ÓéÀÖ agency’s integrated technical assistance (TA) and capacity building initiative. The agreements were awarded in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ first quarter. Each has a term of three years.

ICF will provide capacity building, on-site and web-based trainings, and data analytics to cities, counties, states and local nonprofits to help Å·²©ÓéÀÖm implement effective community development programs and secure stable housing. The company will also continue to manage Å·²©ÓéÀÖ, Å·²©ÓéÀÖ agency’s award-winning online platform where grantees can access resources to implement programs that benefit Å·²©ÓéÀÖir communities.

Additionally, ICF will lead a national disaster recovery conference in partnership with HUD this fall that will teach Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grantees from around Å·²©ÓéÀÖ country how to design, implement and monitor Å·²©ÓéÀÖir recovery programs. The conference will build upon Disaster Recovery Toolkits that ICF previously developed for HUD which help CDBG-DR grantees  disaster recovery grants,  disaster programs, and  and oÅ·²©ÓéÀÖr vulnerable populations
