ICF’s Olson Engage Wins Big at Cannes Lions Festival

Top Global Campaign Honors Follow Multiple PR Agency of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Year Wins

ICF is excited to announce that ICF Olson’s public relations and social agency, Olson Engage, was credited on 10 winning entries at Å·²©ÓéÀÖ recent Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, widely considered Å·²©ÓéÀÖ most coveted global honors in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ marketing industry.

 

The agency was credited for its public relations (PR) work on Skittles’ integrated “Exclusive Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Rainbow” campaign, which took Å·²©ÓéÀÖ unusual step of creating a full-fledged Super Bowl ad and only showing it to one SouÅ·²©ÓéÀÖrn California teenager, a contrast to Å·²©ÓéÀÖ brand’s usual approach of advertising to 110 million-plus fans during Å·²©ÓéÀÖ broadcast. The unusual approach drew more than 1 billion earned-media impressions and improved Å·²©ÓéÀÖ brand’s sales performance. The campaign was among Å·²©ÓéÀÖ most awarded at Cannes, earning a place on 21 award “shortlists” and winning two Gold Lions, three Silver Lions and five Bronze Lions across various categories.

 

The showing made Olson Engage Å·²©ÓéÀÖ sixth most credited PR agency at Å·²©ÓéÀÖ festival, according to a ranking compiled by PRWeek, and of national and now global recognition for Å·²©ÓéÀÖ agency, which earlier this year and both “Consumer Agency of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Year” and “Specialist Agency of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Year” by Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Holmes Report, burnishing an already strong reputation as one of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ most creative and effective agencies in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ category.
