CMS Awards ICF $35 Million Digital Modernization Contract Extension

Open Source, Cloud-based Systems to Improve Healthcare Delivery

 

Reston, Va. (October 3, 2024)— ICF (NASDAQ:ICFI), a global consulting and technology services provider, was recently awarded an option year extension by Å·²©ÓéÀÖ Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to continue modernizing Å·²©ÓéÀÖ systems that monitor and report on Å·²©ÓéÀÖ quality of healthcare for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.

The agreement, which was awarded in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ second quarter of 2024, has a value of $35 million and a term of 12 months. This includes $18 million in expanded work beyond Å·²©ÓéÀÖ initial scope of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ contract and extends Å·²©ÓéÀÖ period of performance by an additional five months.

CMS’ Internet Quality Improvement System (iQIES) will continue to be modernized using open-source and cloud technology, improving Å·²©ÓéÀÖ overall security and useability of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ platform and providing increased data transparency for regulators, policymakers and consumers.
