In just 100 years, Å·²©ÓéÀÖ aviation industry went from Å·²©ÓéÀÖ first powered flight to a global network that connects more than 1.5 billion people. Over Å·²©ÓéÀÖ years, passenger numbers have continued to climb as ticket prices became more affordable. The estimates that 330–445 million tons of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF)—in addition to technological and operational improvements—are required for Å·²©ÓéÀÖ global aviation industry to achieve its emissions targets by 2050.
