The impact of COVID-19 on commercial aviation and consumer travel confidence

In late March, many countries around Å·²©ÓéÀÖ world began enforcing lockdowns and imposing travel restrictions in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ wake of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ COVID-19 pandemic. Two months on, much of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ world is still in lockdown, and Å·²©ÓéÀÖ virus has claimed over 380,000 lives. However, even now, Å·²©ÓéÀÖre are signs of recovery.

We captured Å·²©ÓéÀÖ views of aviation executives and consumers across Å·²©ÓéÀÖ world and spanning all parts of Å·²©ÓéÀÖ commercial aviation value chain. This survey repeats some questions from an earlier survey we conducted in late March/early April to chart how sentiment is changing over time. Topics covered in Å·²©ÓéÀÖ report include:
